New Public Relations and Communications Head joins Genscape team
July 25, 2018, Louisville, KY- Genscape Inc, the leading global provider of real-time data and intelligence for commodity and energy markets, recently welcomed, Tara Leigh Goode, new Head of Public Relations and Communications, to oversee external communication, press outreach, and reinforce the Genscape brand and breadth across the energy trading industry. Tara Goode brings over a decade of public relations, communications, and client management experience to the new role.
Prior to Genscape, Tara’s career spanned both public and private sector communications as well as small business ownership where she co-founded a PR consulting firm. In her most recent role as an executive for a meteorological remote sensing manufacturer, she managed a global portfolio of over 1,000 clients spread across over 90 countries on every continent. After five years in the weather industry, the innovation and data intelligence bug bit her. She plans to bring her background in a high-technology environment and help tell the Genscape story to a broad audience, leveraging the unique intelligence and impactful insights the company is already known for. “Genscape ignites passion and pride in their employees and is cutting edge in their space; that’s the type of company I want to be a part of,” said Tara. “I’m anxious to dive in and tell the story they’ve been writing for almost 20 years now.”
Tara works closely with the Marketing Team to contribute and outline strategies that align with the Genscape voice. She is now Genscape’s primary point of contact for all media inquiries, pitching, and external communications.
